You may remember Sydney's fall session we shot back in October. Having already shot with her once, I was eagerly anticipating another go-round. The weather had warmed up significantly, and with graduation looming, there was a special, exciting emotion in the air for Sydney that I was excited to capture. 

Being the creative type herself, Sydney had several ideas for this session- all of which were spot-on with her personality and my style. I love the variety we got in this shoot. She received a super cool car for graduation, so we had to do a little Vanna White-style with it, of course!

britt + emma • borger high school seniors

Britt and Emma are both seniors at Borger High School (my hometown), and wanted to shoot a few images with each other during their sessions. So, we combined them and had the best time! ​

These two are so much fun. Emma is easygoing and athletic- Britt is into music and fashion. I loved shooting with them both. It was clear they were friends after checking out their clothing selections. They'd planned individually, but sure enough, their wardrobes seemed to compliment each other- and most importantly, each one of them individually. ​

​I have no doubt that God has some great plans ahead for these two ladies. I so enjoyed my time with them - and their posse! Enjoy!

​Here is yet another very special lady I've gotten to know through church. Calin is someone I believe in a whole lot. Watching her grow in her faith has been a blessing to me, and I can't wait to see where God takes her next! I felt like I was photographing Pocahontas during our entire shoot, so I might just have a new nickname for her. :)

Ashley is another awesome girl I've gotten to know through church. This incredible lady is actually graduating early at 16 years old! ​

One of the first things that struck me about Ashley is the way she carried herself- not pridefully, but confidently. She is patient and watchful, and a good friend. Ashley knows that she is God's child and is making decisions based on that knowledge- which is powerful! Getting to watch her live life the past year has been so incredible, and I am so glad she'll be staying in Lubbock next year. 

​I had such a fun time photographing her- we visited some pretty interesting locations and I'm thankful she trusted me to make some beautiful photos there!

I love spring because it means I get to photograph seniors! This is TK- he is a senior at Idalou and involved in many things- including tennis. We had a great time hanging out around Lubbock and I loved hearing about all that he hopes to accomplish! He actually keeps a real "bucket list" in his journal. I have no doubt that he will do all listed and more.

I can't believe my cousin Trey is a senior this year! He lives in Canyon, TX and so we went to downtown Amarillo for a bit to capture his curls before they are cut. :) Trey is a super-talented guy who is involved in everything from soccer to the school musical. Plus he loves Jesus- so that makes him extra cool!
