I have such a fun wedding to share today. Bride Haley is a constant smile, and her husband Ethan is the perfect compliment! And on the day of their wedding, the enthusiasm was contagious. Spirit Ranch was looking beautiful and especially green for March- and I could not wait to photograph Haley + Ethan's ceremony beneath the trees. And you guys- it was BEAUTIFUL. The coordinator wisely waited just a few extra minutes- so that the setting sun was at just the perfect spot- to begin the music. The orange glow of the sunset washed over us all as they said their vows. It was simply gorgeous.

I adored the florals from The Fig & Flower Co. as well as the table and reception decor. We felt so honored to photograph this wedding and are so excited for this couple! Enjoy!

Todd + Heather had the most beautiful wedding day. After several days of rain, the weather brightened up as if for this special occasion- and there really was an air of excitement throughout the events of the day. Todd and Heather were clearly aware of God's perfect timing for them both, and were so eager to start this new journey. I so loved getting to capture the whole sacred, wonderful celebration!

I have to admit, right before this shoot I got super nervous...I'd met Taylor and Bailey a few months ago for the first time and after spending a little time with them, I SO wanted to shoot their engagement photos. They are so. much. fun. These two are laid-back, artsy (Bailey just got back from a glass blowing class-really?!? Awesome!), and stylish...what if I wasn't able to capture all the cool-ness?

Thankfully, they trusted me, and all the unusual places I wanted to take them. A wig shop? Sure, ok....

Also, I have to note Bailey's engagement ring that she designed herself. It might be the coolest thing I've ever seen- a RAW diamond encased in a gold square....fabulous.

I had a great time with them and only selected 74 favorites from the session...so this is literally the "narrowed-down" version. Enjoy this fun couple!

I have been consistently blessed by my clients this year- but I had no idea what a blessing it would be to photograph this wedding! From the second we arrived, Buddy, Belinda, and their families were so, so hospitable. As in- we were checked on, helped out, and offered iced lattes (it was 100 degrees outside) at least 5 times before the ceremony. (And you know I took them up on that one!). Haha- really, though- throughout the day it was clear how thoughtful, excited, and loving this family was.

The wedding was held at Belinda's parent's beautiful home in Seminole, Texas. Not only was it a sentimental location, but it was absolutely perfect for the event. Guests were well-fed and enjoyed chatting while watching a gorgeous West Texas sunset. Another thing I loved about this wedding was that there were several different languages being spoken- family and guests from all over the world came in- and you could hear German, Spanish, Portugese, and more! Belinda's mom made some amazing German raspberry cheesecake for Buddy's table- it is a family recipe, and was so delicious.

During their engagement, Buddy was in the process of building a new home (yes, with his own two hands) for the two of them (with Belinda's input, of course)- but he'd worked right up until the day before the wedding to put the final touches on it. I thought this was such a great picture of a bridegroom preparing for his bride- just the way God does for His church.

I so enjoyed photographing all the beautiful florals at this wedding. Essentially, Belinda chose all of her favorites, and the talented ladies at Blumenflor created such beautiful arrangements with them.

The very talented Ashley Rodgers second shot this wedding with me, and some of these images are hers!

Enjoy!

There are some couples that you just never have to say anything to. They seem to have so much chemistry that you just hold your camera up to your eye, watch, and shoot. This sweet couple definitely qualifies in that category! Brian and Mackenzie's love for each other is visible, and so refreshing- watching them makes you want to be in love. I had such a great time with them and their families the day of their wedding. Their ceremony and reception was held at CapRock Winery, which is a beautiful venue. What I loved most was the intimate ceremony in front of the fireplace. It was perfect and cozy. I hope you enjoy these images!

Brian gave Mackenzie a photo album that held "future memories"- in place of where each photo goes, he wrote out special memories that he was looking forward making in their marriage.

One of Brian's best friends is a pilot in the Navy and is currently deployed overseas. To show our support all of the men wore gold ribbon Lapel Pins.

I would have to say that the most memorable moment was seeing Mackenzie in her dress for the first time during the First Look and then again as she came down the aisle. I think we really had a great time doing the shots for the First Look, but watching her come down the aisle was truly special.

What was your most memorable moment?

I have to pick just one memorable moment?! My father praying for Brian and I was so special, as well as our father daughter dance together. Something that really just stands out in my mind was my younger sister, Alex, singing one of my favorite songs about love to Brian and I during the speeches, while her best friend Abby played the guitar. She worked very hard on it, you could tell, and it was just so moving and wonderful. I cried the whole time!
