Rachel is SO. MUCH. FUN. That's pretty much all I have to say.

She's graduating from Texas Tech this semester and is going to pursue Occupational Therapy (which I had to have her explain to me). :) We had a great time shooting- after it was all over I felt like I'd known her forever! Here are some of my faves:

I always encourage my clients to dress in what they would normally be found wearing. This is Rachel's normal! She is the President of the Tech gymnastics team, as well as a marathon runner.

Jeremy and Haylee were so much fun. We had a gorgeous, and I mean GORGEOUS day to shoot. I loved getting to incorporate Haylee's daughter, Lexie, (whom you have seen before, if you follow my blog) into the photos. I can't wait for their wedding in just a couple months!

brayden • amarillo high school senior • amarillo, tx

I'm a little late on posting these photos, but that's partially because I loved so many of them (and partially because, honestly, I'm still figuring out this Mommy-thing). Brayden is a senior at Amarillo High School, and when he told me his favorite store was Urban Outfitters, I knew we would get along. :) He is also wanting to become an art therapist, which is exactly what I wanted to do when I was a senior. God changed my course, but it's still something that totally interests me. We had a great time wandering around downtown Amarillo, and these are some of my favorite images ever.

We stopped by the Herring building, which is old and abandoned currently. Brayden wants to own it and restore it someday- it would be so cool to go back and take the same photo once he does.

I was so excited to photograph Bobby and his parents in Borger this past weekend. He was born just about a month and a half before Knox and so this was my first time to meet him! I loved getting to see him, his parents, and their awesome home. We had a great session- he had so many fun expressions!

Miss Presley Kaye has mad her big debut into the world! I was lucky to photograph her when she was only 12 days old. It's such an honor for me when clients invite me into their homes and allow me to capture such a new little person! This little girl knows her parents- it was amazing to watch her relax and enjoy them holding her and loving on her. Here are some of my favorites from my time with this sweet family!

This was Presley's first time on her tummy- and I think she kinda liked it!

They had my favorite swaddle blankets- Aden + Anais. So light and perfect!

I had such a fun time with Dallas during his senior photoshoot. The Lubbock skies threatened rain the entire time- we heard claps of thunder- but never saw a drop of rain. He was up for every crazy thought that came to my mind, which I totally appreciated. I can't wait to see where this guy goes- not only is he a musician, but he's won several awards in powerlifting. Plus, he's super nice. Haha, thanks Dallas!

shaun + elizabeth • engagement • lubbock, tx

Shaun and Elizabeth met at Elizabeth's TTU Law School orientation. He noticed her as she was getting her new I.D. made, and he caught her eye when he introduced himself as a tutor for one of her classes. Well, of course Elizabeth needed tutoring from the cute law student...and after not one, not two, but three attempts at going on a first date these two were finally a couple. Since they spend so much time at the TTU Law Building, it was the most appropriate place to begin their Engagement Session.

When they don't have their heads buried in law books, they like to play board games together...which gets them even more cool points in my book!

Check out this Scrabble board Elizabeth created that reflected their relationship! I think I would go down really fast in a game against her. :)
