I just saw this video this morning and it totally broke my heart. (In a good way.) I am always amazed to see the place in people's lives where God's love gets real.

I'll be leaving for Asia today and well be gone until the 24th of April. I've included some Studio Blue info below the video for any of you clients that may have questions.

Please be thinking of me in this journey- and you've got to watch this!

Info for clients:

Just an FYI, in the case that you might have a question regarding one of these things:

Every session shot the week of April 5-11 will be posted in your online gallery the week of April 27-30. The images will be online for the standard two weeks.

If you place your order during April 13-23, please know that it will be processed during the week of the 27-30.

If you are concerned about the turnaround time for prints and/or graduation announcements, don't be. I work with a professional lab that does an excellent job of getting things turned around quickly.

All of the orders that were placed before the 14th of April should have no delays at all, unless your order included an album. My husband and lovely assistant, Shawn, will be mailing all of the orders that arrive while I'm gone.

If you need any help at all, please email me at lissa.anglin@gmail.com. I will have limited internet access, but will be doing my best to help out with emergencies. Thanks!

A few weeks ago, I got to visit my sister in Waco to photograph her Senior Collection. She's a fashion major at Baylor, and her designs will be walking down the runway in a couple weeks!

It was important that we get some images of the outfits for her website, and I had a great time hanging out with Lauren and our other sister, Layne, who dorve up from College Station just to help us. The models also did a fantastic job.

Here are a few of my favorite shots- there are many more- but these are from the images that were chosen for the website.

Just FYI- on many of these garments, Lauren hand-dyed the fabric and/or created the pattern on them. I am so proud of her!

I love the inside of this jacket!

Lauren with the models. Thanks you guys!

I had a FABULOUS time in Los Angeles, but I had to post some of Chelsea's images before I fill you in on that trip.

This girl is just stunning! We had a fun time in windy Lubbock and I absolutely loved getting to photograph her. Here are a few of my faves:

What girl doesn't love a big poofy dress?

Volleyball has been a huge part of Chelsea's high school career, so they brought her gear and had some fun with it!

Thanks so much you guys! It was so much fun!

I got together for an impromptu shoot with Jenni Wise while she was in town last week. It just so happens that Jenni's sister is a gorgeously tall model-type and lives right here in Lubbock! :) Sean was an excellent model  for us, even when we put her in a dress that had to be the most unconmfortable thing ever! She's a pro.

Thanks so much you guys- here are some of my faves.

Sean and Jenni checking out the images.

Kelly Moore! This is my entry for the sun contest!

Here's one of the three of us- sorry for the yucky-not-so-in-focus image. I had a great time you guys!

Bethany is another Senior from Seminole! Her session was extra fun because she is totally into photography, and I had Shawn as my reflector-boy to add a little more spice to the images.

We had a great time hanging out- and Bethany brought some great attitude with her! She and her mom had us cracking up the whole time. Thanks so much!

While we were waiting on Bethany to change, Shawn and I had a little fun with my 14mm lens. Scary, I know.

I've been meaning to share these fabulous accessories with you all for a while now!

These hairpieces are created by my friend Katie, who is also a wonderful photographer. I so wish I would've worn one of these for my wedding rather than the traditional veil!

CHECK OUT HER ETSY STORE. These pieces photograph beautifully, so I would highly recommend considering one!

She can also custom design hairpieces to fit the colors and style of your wedding.

I know I've talked (a.k.a. complained) about the wind here in Lubbock more than once, but this was BY FAR the windiest session I've ever experienced. Hannah is such a trooper- she literally endured 42 mph gusts of wind during her session and still managed to look gorgeous. Seriously! Such a beautiful girl.

Hannah, thank you so much for making the trip! I so enjoyed your session, despite the crazy weather. :)

The ONE thing I like about the wind is that it can provide some serious SUPERMODEL HAIR!

Album cover anyone?

I was so excited when my old cheerleading coach, Leah, contacted me about a photoshoot with her adorable family. She and John have precious one-year-old twin boys!

Now, to be honest, I was a little nervous about this shoot- one, because I wanted them to have some really great images, and two, because one-year-old boys rarely have the same agenda as everyone else. But, it went so extremely well. They had it all together- perfect outfits, a matching blanket to crawl on, cheerios, and a good nap previous to the shoot. These little boys have set the bar high!

I had such a great time with them, and it was a beautiful day. Hope you enjoy these few!

A gorgeous Mommy!

Daddies are helpful when you lose your shoe.

One of my very faves.

Get ready for a mega post! This is Kaury and Ashley- you might remember them- I shot their wedding last June, and it was a blast!

These two are about to graduate from Wayland Baptist University and head out to Kentucky where they'll be attending Asbury Theological Seminary. They wanted to get some images of them before they left, and to celebrate their graduation.

Every time I've photographed them, they've told me to do whatever I wanted to do. It's so freeing to have their complete trust, and to have them actively join in the creative process with me.

We started out in the Religion building on the Wayland campus- it was only appropriate, seeing as how much time they've spent there!

My first semester of college, I remember walking into this building and it smelled like Sunday School to me! Coffee brewing, men walking around in sweater vests...it was all too familiar with my Baptist roots!

I saw this coat rack in the corner of the room and Ashley explained to me that it was for religion students who might need a suit to speak in. I just loved the haphazard way they were all hung, so I made it a photo-op.

We ended up near the Broadway Brew, a super cute little coffee shop in downtown Plainview.

Kaury and Ashley- thank you guys so much! I will never get tired of photographing you!
