It doesn't get much cuter than this! I was so, so impressed with cousins Brooklyn and Lexi and their sweet personalities- we had a fantastic time climbing, twirling, skipping, and laughing. Here are some of my favorites of these gorgeous girls.

1 CommentSteven, Danielle, and Kora came down from Canyon, TX last weekend for a photoshoot- I was SO excited to see them! I love getting to photograph this sweet little family. We had a great time- I loved their clothing choices and of course their fantastic attitudes. Last time I saw Miss Kora she was just beginning to stand by herself- now she is very mobile! Here are some of my favorites:
brett + ashlee • engagement • lubbock, tx
1 CommentMy friend Ashlee called me the day after she got engaged to let me know Brett had popped the question- and I was so excited! These two are so much fun, and I am totally honored to photograph their wedding next summer. Ashlee and Brett both have very busy schedules and are doing their engagement long-distance- but were able to find some time for an engagement session before I go on maternity leave. We began at the airport! Brett flies planes and actually proposed to Ashlee mid-flight (can you say romantic?!?). Here are some of my faves:
jared + brandi • engagement • lubbock, tx
CommentJared and Brandi were a nice change of pace from the many families I've been photographing lately. Don't get me wrong, I love families- but it all starts with a couple. These two are going to sneak away to Mexico to get married just next month! We had some fabulous November light to work with the day of their shoot- enjoy!
the chacon family • lubbock, tx
1 CommentI have been wanting to photograph this family for so long- little Mia and Troy are the most precious kids, and Tony and Amanda are so great and laid-back. Shawn and I go to church with the Chacons, and Amanda is also my bookkeeper/accountant! (She's taking new clients right now- contact me if you would like her info!) Here are my faves from their family session.
more mini-sessions!
1 CommentI have had so many fantastic families for Mini-Sessions this year- here are just a few more. I shot the first two in Borger last weekend where it SNOWED, and then the third in a much warmer Lubbock. Here are some of my faves from these sessions:
The Gattis Family
Check out sweet little Scout! She was so talkative.
And her pretty Momma-
And here is Jett! This kid is so much fun, and so full of ideas!
The Claassen Family
You may remember these guys from their shoot last year- Grady has grown so much! Annnnd.....they're also expecting another little boy this spring!
The Duncan Family
The Duncans go to church with us at the Heights, and I was super excited to spend some more time with them and their adorable kiddos. We had such a great time.

3 CommentsYou may recognize Chris and Kelli from their wedding if you've been following this blog for a while. It seems like it wasn't so long ago- till I realized that back then little Neelie wasn't even in the picture! This was my first time to meet their precious daughter- and she was such a sweet girl. I loved the little outfits Kelli had for her- and of course I loved just getting to hang out with this family- it's such a huge compliment to me when I get to photograph someone again and again. Here are some of my favorites from their session:
chinye • graduate • texas tech university
4 CommentsWARNING- I am about to over-post! I loved too many images from this session- and as a result, I'm sharing them all with you. :) Chinye is just about to graduate from Tech and head out to Pharmacy school, so it was time to get some portraits done. We had some gorgeous sunlight that day- and took full advantage of it! Thank you, Chinye, for being up for it with me!
baby atlynn • newborn • borger, tx
4 CommentsMeet baby Atlynn! She was the most perfect little girl her entire photoshoot- I don't think she made a peep the whole time! Here are a few of my favorites from her newborn session:
P.S. I have to give a shout-out to Atlynn's aunt Shanna- who helped me out at the photoshoot, aunt Amanda- who made her adorable black and white dress, and friend Lindsey- who made the flower headband. I have some awesome friends!
jeff + joanna • engagement • lubbock, tx
4 CommentsI'm super pumped to share this Engagement Session with you all- Jeff + JoAnna are such a fun couple. I can't wait for their wedding next spring! We had a beautiful Saturday to shoot- and began at Texas Tech, amidst the tailgaters. :) These two really do just go together- plus I love JoAnna's style. Enjoy!
