Shanna and I headed out to Galveston a few weeks ago to photograph Rachel + Warren's big day. The ceremony was held at the Galveston Island Convention Center, and everything was so perfect! I totally enjoyed Rachel + Warren's cool-as-a-cucumber attitude...they were such a pleasure to photograph. Here are a few of my favorites!

Miss Sarah Ketchem, a wonderful photographer in her own right...

Guess what the wedding date was :).

The guys got ready in this super cool lounge. How could I resist?

Gorgeous!

Such a sweet moment. I loved the look on Warren's face, but Rachel's Dad's expression was also priceless.

We went out to the beach after it was all over to get a few shots of them alone.

Congratulations you two! Hope ITALY was absolutely wonderful!

Yes, again!

I'll be gone from today (Oct. 2) to Oct. 12. I MAY have internet access, but will not be answering my phone. You are welcome to leave me a voicemail or an email, but please understand that my response will be slow or delayed until I am back.

If you can, please keep my friends and I in your thoughts. Lots of exciting things going on this trip!

Shawn and I visited the South Plains Fair with our friends Marcus, Katlyn and Carson yesterday. We went mid-afternoon and it was absolutely perfect- not too many people, weather was about 75 degrees. I loved getting to see the bear show and the shark show...but let's face it- it was all about the food! We spent most of our time tasting all things fried. I took my camera along and snapped a few...

Fried Food #1- Extra long corndog.

#2- Chicharrones

We just couldn't help ourselves. Kat and I split (#3) a friend pepper jack cheese stick and it was yummy!

Must have- strawberry lemonade!

Too bad Shawn and I got on the wide-angle, out of focus side, haha! At least the Pedrozas look cute.

My favorite! #4- Fried Snickers and ice cream.

#5- Fried Oreos! These were super good too.

#6- Funnel Cake.

Carson wasn't so sure about the baby duck.

His shirt says, "I'm kind of a big deal"!

All fried food consumed, I'm pretty sure my body tanked from a sugar high about 2 hours later. Back to the healthy stuff today!

Before their Engagement Session, I'd never met James or Courtney in person, but I was sure I'd like them after talking with Courtney on the phone. Little did I know they would be bringing some serious hotness with them. I know that's cheesy, but seriously...look at them.

They'll be getting married next June and this was the perfect way to get things rolling. I already know it's going to be fun to photograph. Think black, lime green, and houndstooth print. Oh yeah!

I am no stranger to highway underpasses, but when James and Courtney suddenly pulled over here while we were on our way to the next location, I was pumped!

By the way, Courtney was worried about the pictures, so can you all be sure to leave a comment and let her know just how awesome she looks???

Thanks you two! Congratulations!

For those of you who are not following me on Facebook, you haven't heard about the Fine Art Print contest!

Last week, I wanted to see if the Lissa Anglin Photography Fan Page could reach 1,000 strong...so I decided that if we could get that many fans, I'd give away some prints!

The winners will get to choose from an array of Fine Art Prints I've created during my travels. I decided to randomly select 3 winners from the Fan Page and video it, so to find out who wins, watch the video below!

I have known Hannah pretty much all my life. I think our parents planned it. :)

Regardless, I sure am glad to have her in my life, and that I get to experience fun times in life like this. She and Stephen met me in Amarillo for a fun engagement session last week. When I first got to meet with them, they brought along their dog, Libby, and so it was only appropriate to incorporate her into the session (other dog-lovers will understand!).

Here are some that caught my eye from their session.

Don't get between Libby and her disc.

I didn't realize we had a bystander when we were shooting this image. :)

I've known Lee and his family for several years now, and I was so excited when he and Aubrey contacted me to say they were engaged! I had such a great time with them at their shoot- these two are really easygoing and fun. Aubrey has always been one of my favorite names and to add gorgeous red hair to that was a double bonus! You've picked a good one, Lee! Thanks so much you guys.

We ended up at the gazebo in front of the Lubbock County Courthouse. It's the location of the proposal!

As promised, the images from John + Victoria's wedding! These two were married at the American Wind Power Center here in Lubbock. It was a pretty cool venue- the ceremony was outside and reception was indoor/outdoor. I would highly recommend getting married in September! You still get that nice summer feel, but it's cooling down, so the weather is just right.

John's family came from all over- Vegas, California, Iowa. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Bo Garza was excellent during the ceremony and then at the reception (another thing I would highly recommend- Bo!).

I'm sure you're ready for some pictures. Here you go:

John's grandmother married them. I love this image of them right before the ceremony.

The sunlight could not have been more perfect!

Adorable.

John and his brother gave an entertaining air-guitar performance of "Dueling Banjos" for everyone. They knew it note by note!

It's time for another gorgeous bride! This is Victoria- she was married last weekend. Shawn and I cheered with Victoria in college and I am so honored that I was able to capture such an important time in her life. Here are some of her bridal images- I just loved her complete look. We had a great time, and of course, Victoria looked amazing!
